Happy New Year!  2012 will bring the Summer Olympics in London, a Presidential election and a Leap Year! What major milestones will take place in your 2012?

For MOSCDC, we still have a number of wonderful events ahead of us, including a visit to the ice sculptures at ICE! at National Harbor, a tour and tea at the National Cathedral and a luncheon at the Marine Corps Barracks with our friends from the foreign attaché spouses organization. More information on these great events can be found inside.

We are also continuing to look for a few good spouses to serve on our Nominating Committee. These members will be charged with identifying the leadership for our organization for the 2012-2013 events year. Although the time commitment is small, the outcome is important, and I urge you to think about helping our Parliamentarian, Renae Clippinger, with this crucial responsibility. Please contact me if you would be interested in serving on this committee.

I hope you all had as good a time at the Toys for Tots Luncheon in December as
I did. We so appreciate all the hard work and effort that our sister club QOSO did to make the luncheon such a success and look forward to continuing synergistic events with the two clubs in upcoming years.
