I hope to see many of you at our joint MOSCDC/Defense Attaché Wives Association luncheon on February 15, hosted by General and Mrs. Dunford at the Marine Corps Barracks. Along with entertainment by The President’s Own, we will be treated to remarks by General Dunford as we partake in fellowship with our international friends. It promises to be a warm and inviting day no matter what the weather is like outside, so please register today. Space is limited!

We will soon begin our work in finding those spouses who are willing to help MOSCDC in a leadership position for the 2012-2013 Club year. We have a strong, vibrant, active Club that is as large as it has been in a number of years and we need “a few good spouses” to help MOSCDC remain the welcoming, entertaining and fun organization it has been. A list of all Board positions is included inside, and I would ask each of you to take some time to thoughtfully consider how you can give back to this great organization. Please contact our Parliamentarian Renae Clippinger for more information on these positions or to nominate yourself or someone else.

For more immediate, and shorter duration volunteer opportunities, I hope you will consider raising your hand for one of the smaller opportunities listed inside. We need help with our DAWA luncheon, our Charitable Contributions Committee and our financial books.
