Let's Go: Behind the Scenes at the U.S. Capitol: Dome & Historic Chambers Tour

Join MOSCDC for an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience at the U.S. Capitol featuring a Dome Tour and Expanded Historic Chambers Tour. Members and guests will climb inside the Capitol Dome, view The Apotheosis of Washington up close, and enjoy a rare perspective overlooking the Rotunda. The tour also includes the Crypt, National Statuary Hall, Old Supreme Court Chamber, Old Senate Chamber, and historic corridors. 

When: Thursday, February 26th, 2026 at 8:45 am

Where: First St SE, Washington, DC. 20004

Who: MOSCDC Members and Guests (18+)

Cost: $10.00 for Guests (Non-refundable)

0845 – Arrive at Rayburn House Office (escorted through security)

0900 – Drop coats/personal items at Marine Corps House Liaison Office

0930 – Meet Guide in the Rotunda to begin Capitol Tour

1130 – End Capitol Tour

1130–1300 – Lunch

1300–1500 – Private Capitol Botanical Gardens Tour

1500–1600 – House Gift Shop

1600–1630 – Drop off purchases

1630–1650 – Move to link-up point

1650–1700 – Sign Hold Harmless Agreements

1700 – Dome Tour begin

Space is limited. Members will meet at the Capitol Visitor Center at the designated time. Your Government-issued ID is required for entry. Walking and stair climbing is required.
